The Copy-Paste Problem
Pasting content directly from Word into a CMS or website editor often produces ugly, inconsistent markup that breaks your design. Formatting looks fine in Word but falls apart on the web.
From Document to Web Content
WordConvertHTML bridges the gap between document creation and web publishing. By converting your Word content to clean, semantic HTML, you ensure consistent formatting, proper heading structure, and professional presentation.
Structure Your Content for the Web
Web users scan content differently than document readers. Use short paragraphs, clear headings, bullet points, and bold key phrases. WordConvertHTML helps maintain this structure while producing clean code.
A Simple Publishing Workflow
Write and review the text in Word as usual. When it is approved, copy it into the converter, run Clean All, and copy the HTML. In your CMS, switch to the code view before pasting. In WordPress that means a Custom HTML block or the Code editor, and most other systems have a similar "HTML" or "Source" button. Then preview the page on desktop and on a phone before you publish.
What to Do About Images
Do not rely on images that came along with the pasted text. Save them from the document, resize them for the web, upload them through your CMS media library and insert them from there. That way they are hosted on your site, load quickly, and you get a field for alt text.
Keep Your Brand Consistent
Once you have clean HTML, you can apply your website's CSS to maintain brand consistency across all pages. This is impossible with Word's hard-coded styles.
