HTML to Word Converter
Paste your HTML into the code panel on the right. The formatted document shows up on the left, and "Download .doc" saves it as a file you can open in Microsoft Word.
How to use it
- 1
Add your HTML
Paste the code into the HTML panel, or press "Upload HTML" to open an .html file.
- 2
Review the document
The left panel shows the page the way Word will display it. Edit the text or formatting there if needed.
- 3
Download for Word
Press "Download .doc". Open the file in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and save it in any format you like.
How the Word file is made
The download is a .doc file that Word opens directly, with headings, lists, tables, links and basic text formatting in place. Once it is open you can use "Save as" to store it as .docx or PDF.
What converts well
Text structure converts reliably: headings, paragraphs, bold and italic, lists, tables and links. Layout made with CSS grid, flexbox or scripts does not exist in Word, so complex web page designs are simplified to a single-column document.
Copy and paste also works
If you only need part of a page, select the text in the left panel, copy it and paste it into an open Word document. The formatting is carried across.
Questions
Can I convert a whole web page to Word?
Yes. Save the page as an .html file or copy its source code, load it into the editor and download the .doc file. Text content converts best, while navigation bars and scripts are better removed first.
Does it create .docx files?
The download is in .doc format, which every version of Word opens. Use "Save as" inside Word if you need .docx.
Are images included?
Images that use a full web address or are embedded in the HTML are shown. Images that point to files on your own computer need to be inserted again in Word.
